The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification, also known as the RQF, is one of the key foundation construction courses recognised in the United Kingdom. The RQF course is a flexible course aimed at learners who currently work or want to work in the construction industry.
The RQF1 course helps students gain valuable construction experience and industry knowledge to progress with a career in construction, including areas such as plastering, bricklaying, carpentry, tiling, plumbing and construction.
The Level 1 Award Health and Safety Qualification is an approved CSCS card course aimed at learners who currently work or want to work in the construction industry.

Pre-Entry RQF Training Course Requirements
- All learners that enrol in the RQF must be at least 16 years of age before they can be registered on this qualification.
- A basic level of literacy and the equivalent to a Level 1 proficiency in the English language is also a standard pre-requisite.
GET CERTIFIED RQF Qualification Packages
- Silver Package - Qualification Only.
- Gold Package - Qualification and CITB Test.
- Platinum Package - Qualification, CITB Test and application of CSCS Green Card.
Please note: You will need a copy of both the Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) certificate and the CITB Touch Screen Test score report for us to complete your CSCS Green Card application. Once you have completed both qualifications we will be able to apply for your CSCS Green Card. CSCS will be responsible for supplying you with your CSCS Green Card, once we have submitted the application.

Our qualification is accredited by QNUK (Qualification Network) and is approved and listed by CSCS.
How does the online training and assessment work?
At GET CERTIFIED TRAINING LTD, our online construction course training is provided through video with short progress exams.
- The multiple choice online assessment must be undertaken on a PC or Laptop running Windows 10 with web cam and microphone with a reliable internet connection.
- If the student is successful, the RQF course e-certificate is then issued by email.
In order to sit your exam with our invigilators, your device must fit the specification below:

- Windows 10 or above
- Processor similar or equal to; Intel(r) Core(TM) i5-3550S CPU @ 2.00GHz
- System Type: 64-bit Operating System x 64-based processor
- Internet speeds equal to or greater than 5mps upload and download
- Working webcam/microphone

Factors that could prevent you from accessing your exam:
- Security restrictions within your WIFI (for example, TalkTalk WIFI blocks screen sharing, meaning your exam cannot be invigilated)
- Computers provided by work/school (admin restrictions may not allow 3rd party applications, like the EDExams application to run/be downloaded to the device).
- High security anti-virus software’s
